It just doesn't open. I'm on 10.4.11 by the way.

Wow, you're quick! Though I have to say it still doesn't work on 10.4.

The poly mode works solid now by the way. Only oscillator 2 of the Slim Phatty seems to fluctuate a bit when OSC2 FREQ is turned all the way up.

Re: New Firmware v3.1 for Slim Phatty, LP Stage and Tribute

Well, I bought a new MacBook Pro instead (that was due to happen anyway). It's all working, now I'm going to test my 3 voice polymoog system and hope it works good.

Re: New Firmware v3.1 for Slim Phatty, LP Stage and Tribute

Maybe it should've mentioned somewhere that the PhattyLoader is not compatible with Mac OS X 10.4. Now one of my LPs hangs with the message "Please send firmware". Is there going to be a version of the PhattyLoader for 10.4 anytime soon?

Re: anyone try polychaining SP/LP's yet?

I own 2 LPs but polychaining with just 2 voices isn't very interesting, I'm waiting for the SP to be available here in Holland so I can hook it up to create a 3 voice polymoog. Hell, maybe I'll buy another one for a proper 4 voice system. :)

Re: delay for LP?

I use the Moog MF-104Z and a Maxon AD999. The Maxon was €249 and has 900 ms delay time and is also analog but it has no CV controls. http://www.maxonfx.com/Vintage_AD999.php

I've been waiting for this thing to come out for years now, I bought a Vermona drumsynth instead because I couldn't wait any longer. If you browse the NAMM 2010 YouTube vids, there is one of Dave Smith talking about LINN (the guy interviewing him about his new products put him on the spot). He simp...

I recently bought a Maxon AD-999 to double my delays: analog BBD + 900 miliseconds delay time for €249. It's a great sounding analog delay, less noise and brighter than the MF but it has no CV.

Boy, am I glad I was wrong! I hope that you will be glad that you were wrong after the price announcement... Price is subjective. You either have the money and you are willing to spend it, or you don't. :) Yes, but why would you spend a lot of money on a unknown monosynth if there are proven qualit...

you have to be on the clock divide menu while in the arp menu to do so
According to the manual it should also work with the modulation knob, I just tried it myself on a Stage 1 and it didn't work.
A bug maybe?

You have to connect the LP's audio output to the input of your PC/soundcard. The USB doesn't transmit audio.
