Re: Sub 37 poll
CV outs should be mandatory on all modern analog monosynths by this point.

Re: Replacement Membrane Panel Moog Source
These folks have had them in the past, but don't seem to right now. You might inquire.

Re: MiniBrute Pitch Out to Sub Phatty Pitch In
Had a similar situation when using the FreqBox as a second oscillator for my Minibrute (have a LP too, but haven't cv'ed them together yet) and having a CP-251 helped immensely. I was able to scale the FB vco way up and down over several octaves. Not sure if this'll help - but: http://forum.moogmusi...

Re: Ring Modulation Nation
Funny trick, I tried playing the carrier osc from my Roland Sh09, bringing it back into the Rolands aux in. Roland and Moog are supposed to be octave/volt right? Non-musical results. I wonder if there is a way to trim the carrier osc to be closer to the actual scale of notes? I had a similar...

Re: Freqbox as oscillator expander for Minibrute
Another fun trick for the FB, CP251 and MB - key-scaled audio rate filter fm! MB kybd/pitch out to CP251 mixer in (as with the extra oscillator patch), CP251 positive mixer output (master at 10) to FB frequency input. FB oscillator out to CP251 attenuator in and back out to the filter CV input on th...

Re: Freqbox as oscillator expander for Minibrute
Thanks for all the suggestions. Found a solution. MB keyboard/pitch CV out to CP251 mixer - positive output of mixer to FB frequency in. Adjusted the offset down a bit on the mixer and am able to pitch the FB's frequency way down now. Eric - thanks for the tip on using the ENV Amount to fine tune th...

Hmm - hadn't thought of that. Thanks for the suggestion - I'll try it out tonight!

Freqbox as oscillator expander for Minibrute
Hi folks - got a question that will hopefully be easy to solve. Have had a Moog ring mod, FreqBox and CP-251 for a while now, along with my Little Phatty - don't have the CV output mod for the LP yet either. So I've had a restricted range of connectivity possibilities within that four-part Moog setu...

Re: Moog SUB PHATTY
So - after reading over the "under the hood" specs again, I see "LFO KB tracking" and "LFO Range." So - could this this be the solution for audio rate filter FM? I'm assuming this means that the keyboard tracking can modulate the rate of the LFO and that the LFO has dif...

Re: Moog SUB PHATTY
From reading the spec, Moog did away with osc 2 to filter cutoff modulation on this model - so no more filter FM. No more crunchy, metallic weirdness and formant type patches. Am I misreading or missing something?

Looks very nice - the MG-1 with the new panels looks sorta like the Kawai 100f. Wood makes everything look better

For someone who really isn't all that well versed on sysex - how exactly do I update my LP easily and reliably without screwing anything up? I'm sure I should save my patches, but what's the best way of doing this? I'm using a new Intel iMac - in case that helps with direction. Thanks! Like you all,...

Welcome to the forum loser. I made a comment earlier in this forum about not wanting this to turn into the Ableton Live forum. That time I was mostly joking because I was respnoding to someone joking. This time I am not. I like this forum because people are respectful. The above comment was not. Pl...
