Re: Sub 37 - Non-Tribute Edition?

Just bought a Sub37.

And so it seems it's not really a limited edition, it's just that, well, at some uncertain point in the future, they'll stop to produce units?

When I gave my Tribute to a tech to put the new chip in, the synth came back as cold as ice, and didn't produce a sound until a long long warm-up

I bought a Memory Boy analog delay last week, and got a couple of Phatty soundbytes here : http://khoral.blogspot.com/2009/11/electro-harmonix-memory-boy-first.html The RE-20 intrigued me but I thought it was a bit pricey and I wanted to keep the audio chain as analog as possible until the computer ...

It's stupid but I never thought of trying, assuming that Overload function was doing something along those lines, but it's a nice trick... really unpredictable, weird, resonating sounds

I have a Tribute and too recommend the Stage II, unless the slicker look is really important to you.

According to the official specs, 70kgs, which seems odd to me but there you go
At least I know it can stand a Phatty!
