I figured out the problem. In the Master menu, change "MIDI Mod Wheel" from 14-bit to 7-bit. The screen says "Mod wheel sends..." but I guess it means sends/receives.

The mod wheel on my Voyager Select is acting strange through MIDI. If I play into the Voyager from another controller and move the mod wheel from that controller, it quickly alternates between wherever the Voyager's mod wheel is and where the MIDI mod wheel is. Yeah, I take "mint" to mean the exterior/physical condition. If someone wanted to sell me a mint '58 Corvette, I would assume that the paint and parts were all original and in good condition, but I would also hope the tires, oil and other serviceable items had been replaced over the years....

I remember when everyone complained that the Andromeda envelopes were too slow, then when they were sped up people complained about the clicks.

I suppose that clicks are more noticeable with dark bass sounds than brighter ones. Dialing in a slower filter attack will just make the clicks seem worse.

The most common use is noise as the input, resulting in a random stepped wave as the output. The manual does a good job of explaining this application.

You don't need the VX for this. The filter will track the keyboard from the MIDI in, no?

That's very odd. You can create a MIDI filter in the Environment. You can also see a MIDI monitor there, so you can figure out what messages are causing Logic to wig out.

In Logic Pro 7, File > Song Settings > Synchronization. Click the MIDI tab and check "Transmit MIDI Clock." Select the MIDI out that's connected to the Voyager.

If Moog charges for the service, there has to be compelling content to drive users there. So either they need to create content (which costs time/money), make it free and deal with the bandwidth (which costs money) or get rid of it.

A TRS cable should work, and you'll get the benefit of noise canceling at the mixer end, just not at +4dB. If you're really picky, you could have TRS at the mixer end and TS with floating - at the synth end.
