What's the point of having this amazing technology to show on a new guitar, if NOBODY will buy it. I don't think that a $1,500.00 or even a $2,000.00 guitar, is a guitar for a kid with a line 6 amp. How much would the electronics alone be worth for this guitar? I am almost sure that they don't cost...

I remember looking at Model Ds in the past and seeing them go for $1500-$2000.

And I agree, unless your goal is collecting, the voyager line has possibilities that the model d didn't have.

Thanks so much

Thanks so much for trying to help. I recorded a clip of the symptom and put it up on myspace (http://www.myspace.com/theartfuldodgermd) under the title "test." For this, I initialized all the parameters and then adjusted the filter envelope: A: 0, D: 86, S: 87, R: 58, Amount: 100 I also se...

Tips for using Filter Envelope? Need help

I'm having a problem. I've never used the filter envelope, as awesome as it is, because there is some aspect of it that I don't understand. I need someone to help explain the interplay between the filter and volume envelopes. I often use the volume envelope. When I try to use the filter envelope. An...

I'm a bit late chiming in, but here's my 2 cents about the Old School. I think it's a really bad idea, considering it's MSRP is close to what I paid for my brand new Select on Black Friday. Why would anyone prefer it over the Select? It just doesn't make sense. MOOG got it backwards. They should ha...

if i'm not mistaken, the std voyager can do the same modulation arrangements via the programmable setting on the buses, right? so the std can do the same the os does, it just doesn't have it on the front panel.

http://www.moogmusic.com/detail.php?main_product_id=21108 It's about $2600 :? No MIDI? Why not? It can't cost that much to include MIDI. Ah well... midi is for the regular voyager. this concept is nothing digital whatsoever. had to be one or the other, they couldn't exactly make features a la carte.

I am very disappointed in the MP-201, how many people have been asking for this type of device? Moog could have put out a simple sequencer, Envelope Generator or Pitch to CV in the MF line, a pedal synth or stripped down rack mounted LP, or a ribbon controller. Any of these would satisfy their targ...

good call...i hadn't responded...and i should give my appreciation to everyone who responded.

in truth, i have been doing some renovations at home so my voyager is safely tucked away, and i haven't had a chance to try any of them yet. but i certainly will.

when it comes to origins, i think the only reason the keyboards were slapped onto the synths was because it was a familiar method of control. a downside of that is that people kind of view it and compare it to a piano, or maybe digisynths like the triton, making it so i have to explain to people tha...
