I'm guessing that it would be possible to write a small utility to overwrite the 'boot screen image' bytes within the appropriate SysEx Bank file with an appropriately processed custom image prior to downloading to the Voyager (which is something I did start looking into at one time - but lost focus ...

In an old (circa OS v2.3) SysEx format doc that I have these bytes relate to Pot Mapping.

So.....what to do with a redundant $300 digital board ???

It's a lot of money just to throw in the bin, and given the reliability of these units it isn't really worth keeping as a spare.

Using it as a Z180 'development kit' is also unlikely due to the specialised nature of the design.

I got my Voyager from them direct.

When I need to arpeggiate I use my Triton Pro X.
