The synth on the left is made by 'Open Labs' -- its a "MIKO". Basically its a PC inside a keyboard.

I do own a voyager (and I LOVE it) - but it doesn't have the raw power of the model D :twisted:

Current prices

What is a fair price to pay for a good condition mid 70's model D Minimoog?

On e-bay they seem to be going for US$3000 ~ 3600+

I live in Australia & I think the only chance I'll ever get of owning one will be to buy from the US.

Any opinions?

That must have been AMAZING to play Mr Emerson's moog - I've heard it called the world's most 'dangerous' synth - so it must sound pretty awesome in the flesh!!

Do you own the MMV software? If so how does it compare to the real thing??

The MMV manual should say - for PC users hold down 'Ctrl' and click - thought it would be something simple!!

I just recently bought the Moog modular V software (great sounds!!) & I'm using it as a stand alone synth with my PC (pentium III, 850MhZ). I'm using an M-audio Audiophile USB midi interface and an Edirol PCR-50 midi keyboard controller - but I can not assign the pots on the Edirol to the pots on ...
