I can't see Moog putting any Poly out in the market. It will cost too much. Heck the LP for what it is, is expensive enough, imagine a 4 voice poly with limited functions, it will cost around 4K easy. They just can't compete with what it is out there. The Voyager, great synth but too much money. The...

i don't have experience with any of the keyboards on the survey perse, but if it was me i'd much rather have the voyager, even if it was a rack version... besides, i actually prefer my midi controller to the actually keys of the prodigy. sure the voyager has lot's of options, but isn't that a good ...

You could use an Oxygen 8 to control the RME for cheap off Ebay. The RME is a much more substantial synth besides the oscillators. You can also find a 251 on ebay for cheap. I got one 3 weeks ago for $162.00. Nothing against the LP, but the LP is a scaled down Voyager in essence so if you have a ch...

am in between 2 synths actually 3 but one I can manage for now but will hate using my OB-Xa to control it. I like the Moog LP but I am not sure if it will get into serious Moog bass line and leads (this included the Mini D and the voyager). I may be able to pickup a Moog RME (voyager rack) or the LP...

Yes I am also curios about what some people think about it after a couple of weeks.....I know many are still on the honeymoon phase....I am just about to get one but I am concern about the sound...How much bass compared to other Moogs and the modulation abilities.....I really like the dials idea sho...

Got mine back from Moog yesterday afternoon and checked it out thoroughly before leaving the office (brought headphones with me) - so far, so good! They've really scaled back the noise/buzz to -60dB - it's only apparent if the overdrive is really cranked-up. All the LEDs are nice and stable - no mo...

Re: Is the LP still shipping?

I haven't seen a bunch of "I've got mine!", posts in the last week, although Nigeynige indicated on the forum that he got his yesterday.... Have the recent "bugs" slowed or stopped the shipping of the LP? I am going banannas waiting for mine to come in the store... it seems like...

i wish people would stop slagging the LP until theyve spent some proper time with one. its like people are wanting to rip this synth to shreds deliberately. peas DG No one is bashing the LP. There are numerous people that are having issues with their LP. Is this a surprise, NO. I think everyone tha...

I noticed that the LP has gate Pitch CV In (1 V/Oct), Filter CV In, Volume CV In and Keyboard Gate In. I have an Oberheim DSX sequencer which has 8 CV and Gate outputs. If I want to use the LP for sequencing with the DSX can I use CVs 1-3 and then use Gate 1? Will that work?

Well on the bottom of the page it says specs subject to change w/ot notice. Perhaps they are saving some features until the end to make it more interesting. Use that as the "ohhhhhhhh.... I get it",...nice" factor....Or perhaps this is it and all we need to do is just look at the phys...
