The Arp, in good condition, is worth about $580. There are a few different models of the Prophet 5, and some are considered of greater value than others. However on average, a Pro5 in good condition is worth about $1,250.00

The prices are nowhere as exact as that; can go much higher. Varies by ...

eric,
yeah, this was my first time seeing an odyssey up close and i was amazed at how much it could do... sample and hold, noise, ring mod, etc etc... i always thought the odyssey was like the arp version of a prodigy, but it's clearly a lot more than that.
i'm anxious to get them back from the ...

Re: sample and Hold

Doesn't anyone else have any good Sample and Hold applictions???

Anyone?

i always feel like i can never have enough sample and hold circuits. anyway, since you asked, i mentioned in an earlier thread how useful having two cp251s is. i can't remember if i wrote about exactly what i do with them ...

does 4ms do cv pedals? i was looking at the triwave picogenerator and it looks great but i wasn't aware it had cv ins and outs

i'm pretty sure i read a review (harmony central?) that discussed CV (with regard to the triwave, if i'm not mistaken); considering 4ms' 'open architecture' ethos, it ...

Re: list of CV-controllable guitar fx?

Hi! I´m getting more and more into CV - gear and am thinking about getting a modular synth as a FX-processor (for bassguitar). But it will take some time before I have enough bucks to buy some good one, I was thinking if anyone of you has a list of CV controllable guitar pedals other than the ...

Yeah I admit sometimes I get a little heave handed.

It mus be all the years in the armed service(desert storm I). I'm glad the music had such a profound inpact on me and is slowly changing my outlook on things.

BTW..LG do you have anything or know this creep who's burning the good name of Moog ...

Yeah MoogMusic should really put something out that's better and squash this little bug of a man whos making this.

going a little too far, no?

i'm actually in favor of a more, er, free exchange of ideas. if someone came along and thought up a new product that helps me make music, by enhancing ...

i totally understand what you're getting at, and i guess i just have to try stuff out. i'm very interested in seeing what an ebow does to my playing.

it's funny, in the past i've bought pieces of equipment with in mind one genre, but later on i end up using it for a whole lot more!

i think it's ...

Personally, I'm skeptical that you'll be able to get that sound with a guitar and MF-101. I think that the attack and decay of the synth sound in the clip is part of the overall sound, not just the filter. I could be wrong though - can't you order it from some place where you can return it if you ...

I'd love the 2-610 cause i always use these foogers in stereo. These things are just so darn expensive. I was talking to a sound engineer friend of mine on the weekend and he mentioned that using a good compressor might get me better results right now

i picked up a couple of those FMR RNC1773 ...

thanks man i'll check out the summit audio. sounds cool. I'm looking at the Universal Audio 610 pre. sounds promising but it's friggin pricey.

UA makes great stuff. i don't think you'd go wrong there. which one are you looking at, the 2-610 or the solo 610? i guess there's an LA-610 channel strip ...

hey thanks for the reply man.

yeah, this is what i'm doing already also. but i'm wondering if there are other ways. i'm wondering what the big recording studios use. are there any good line level analog or tube preamps that can warm up the sound a bit before it goes digital. not that these things ...

can you use a compressor with a bass?

it's done all the time. the dbx160 is a classic bass compressor...
