Re: CONGRATULATIONS to Moog!

I have been a MemoryMoog owner for a while now and thought it was the best sounding synth for thick pads that I have ever heard or played on (besides *maybe* the CS-80). There is no other synth I would rather buy than a Moog One. Moog really set out to push the envelope as far as it can go with this...

Re: RIP Moogerfooger

I love my Mooger Fooger rack and I am sad to hear the line will end (without getting MIDI versions of the Freqbox, Ringmod or LPF). I understand that this means they can move on to making something new and awesome, so it is probably a good trade off! I thought about how I wanted my Fooger cabinet to...

Re: low range of S&H on CP 251?

When you say unit 1 and unit 2, I am assuming you have 2 different CP-251s and they both have different results from each other. Is that correct? If that is correct, I would say the problem is internal (callibration or even just different components). I have read on here that Freqboxes are not calli...

Re: low range of S&H on CP 251?

Under Technical Information (page 25) there is a little more information too: "Nominal input resistance at the IN jack is 10KW. Nominal voltage range which this input will sample is ±3 volts. Nominal input resistance at the TRIG jack is 10KW. Triggering occurs when the voltage at the TRIG jack ...

Re: low range of S&H on CP 251?

Update: I found the S&H description (of what I was referring to in the previous post) to give you better information. It is on page 13 and 14 of the CP-251 PDF manual. "In addition, the OUT 1 signal is fed through a special lowpass filter which smooths the signal out and then delivers it to...

Re: low range of S&H on CP 251?

If you are using the filtered/smoothed S&H output (can't remember if that is 1 or 2), the LFO rate affects the filter frequency (they are internally connected). You may want to check out the manual for more specifics as this is just from my faulty memory.

Re: MURF CV Tempo sync issues

The Tempo/Sync jack can do step advance also. If you have a stereo 1/4" Y cable (that splits the stereo out to separate jacks), one signal in will tap the tempo and the other will advance the sequence one step for each gate pulse. The step advance is my favorite feature on the pedal as you can ...

Re: Anyone actually built a modular synth out of foogers?

I bought the Mooger Phaser on first sight after noticing how many jacks were on the back! I was back to buy more soon after that with the goal of making a modular synth out of the whole collection. I soon had them all (before the ClusterFlux came out) and made some really strange organically-morphin...

Re: MF-105M Midi MuRF as an EQ/Drive Pedal

You can put it in pattern 1 (I forgot if it is Bass or Mid) and it has no sequenced pattern and no envelope. This would be the EQ filter bank mode. I love using it this way! I also use MIDI to open and close each filter with MIDI note messages and it can respond to volume per slider (using the right...

Re: The Moogerfooger VST Collection

I had a chance to try these out before the release and they are really well done and a lot of fun. I feel they enhance my creativity with these Mooger Foogers. Lucas put a lot of work into these and I am happy they are released here for free! I updated the OS on all 3 of my Foogers before using them...

Re: MF-101 Amount Knob Repair

There is usually a set screw in the knob. That should be loosened a bunch to pull it off. If the knob is busted up, then the solder joints on the PCB (for that pot) likely broke loose as well. Even a small crack in the solder (which shows when you wiggle the pot a little) can cause problems in the o...

Try sending an e-mail to Doug at synthparts.com

I think that is where I got Slider caps for my (now sold) Moog Rogue a while back.

Re: Roland "Boutique Series"

I don't think these dinky little things will ever actually sound like what they claim they are recreating. I love the Juno series and nothing I have heard makes me think I want that one. I love one version of the Jupiter 8, but not the other and yet again none of the sounds I have heard remind me of...

Re: M32 + Freqbox = Pitch?

KB Out on the Mother 32 should be CV for the Freqbox Freq In. If not, maybe you can use the Assignable cv out to do it?
