If anyone else has this oscillator issue (I had the exact same symptoms of OP), try and shield the power supply from the oscillator board.

My tech fitted something akin to a piece of tin foil in a plastic sheath, between the power supply (on top of the factory card label) and osc board. Very simple ...

Why if you want to make the Phatty sound great do you get somone to play it like a doosh, it needs a funkster on the keys. Please moog - do the thing justice!

I'd obviously have to play it first, but Im sorry that amount of money is just to much and I probably can't say this here but right now im more likely to buy a Dave Smith monophonic keyboard at Turnkey. I know, shoot me.

I went to turnkey, had lots of fun.....also discovered the Dave Smith poly evolver keyboard....ouch!
