Well, I put it on ebay for a week. Not one bid!!

Amazingly, it was on at the same time as two others, with some quite serious damage -- and one of them had a bid of over £300!

Funny old world......... Looks like it was an omen that perhaps I shouldn't sell it after all?

It is supposed to output 23Volts but at what amperage? The service schematic shows the secondary windings fused at 250mA -- so you should be OK with a transformer of 10VA, or perhaps slighty more to be on the safe side.
