- Topic: Is the Voyager worth the money?

I probably would spend my money elsewhere and am thinking of selling mine now. Though the voyager does sound great it just doesn't do enough for the money in my case, it fills a small niche relatively well. I think I would have been much happier with the modular v and about $2500 to spend on my car ...

Par for the course they did the same with the signature addition. barring the signature and low serrial # there's nothing unique about it for $1000. It would be cool if moog would make more new products besides watches belt buckles and rehashes of the only synth they make. But its their business who ...

I can say that because I bought at 12:30 the night it was released for sale on the big briar site. I'm not completely bashing the synth I didn't have time to write all of what I think about it. In fact I would recomend a voyager to a certain type of player, but not one like me. I'm glad to hear that ...

new things?
Whats with all the new merchandise, enough clocks and t-shirts and mugs already I don't want a clock that says moog on it I want a synth or pedal or something that involves music making.

I too love my voyager but agree with courtney 214 and if I remember correctly Bob Moog does too I think I read an interview where he admitted that software was getting closer and closer to the sound of analog all the time. But he also said something which I think was pretty smart in that he thought ...
