Just ti chime in here: Mine also shipped as two boxes. First box was the peddles (in a labelled Moog box). Second was the case. No damage experienced here. Boxes were in perfect shape. But, my T-shirt was not sent. No worries though as I am sure that Moog will sort that out. Off to play with the ped...

You are so right superd2112. No two analog synths are the same. In fact, I have also found very subtle differences between the same model of the same instrument. No so much in sound, but playability. For example, each of my Andys and Voyagers play just a little bit different from each other. Also, e...

One thing to double check: Are you certain that you downloaded and applied the correct version? There are two different downloads - one specifically for the RME and one for the keyboard versions. Please double check that you were applying the RME version. I have not yet updated my RMEs but have succ...

OS v3.5 & Editor

Any early adopters try OS 3.5 and the existing 3.4 editor?

Curious if there are any issues/incompatibilities...

Thanks,
Michael...

Bold statement, maybe, but remember, it is just my opinion. I happen to believe it to also be true. I never stated that I want or need others to believe it as you seem to need. If you were truly insulted by my use of the word 'gay' and thought that the word was directed toward you rather than the pi...

I am often amazed at some of the posts here. Why do some people feel that they need to insult, belittle and "post-monger" in order try to convince people that they are right? Aren't we all pretty much intelligent, mature people here? Lately, this board is becoming much like the toilet that...

"Get it right...that's all I care about. The MP-201 had its issues in the first release...I expect my Taurus III's to be 100% flawless...." Well, like every product in the world, it is bound to have some bugs on first release. Plus, a company like Moog usually does not rush a product out. ...

Well, after playing the "Which Taurus" samples for quite a bit, I have some observations: First, a HUGE hats off to Moog. I think that these are about as close as one could ever get given that components, materials, etc. have changed a lot over time. (both in source components used to manu...

I like this idea a lot! I have been looking to build some DIY modules to augment my modular/Voyager/MF setup. Most things I found were not designed for a newbie in electronics building (me). As far as power and cases go, I think that should be left for the user to decide. Otherwise, you will never p...

Just finished some testing for this problem: Power cycled the unit several times. Both by leaving it off for 15-20 secs and power cycling it on/off immediately several times. I even power cycled the unit while it was still booting. Unable to get unit to fail. (come up blank) Re-flashed firmware seve...

I know what you mean. Right after reading your post, I went over to my rig and looked and also did not see it. Of course, mine wasn't even blocked by any cables - I am just blind I guess. :) Anyhow, makes me rethink why I never use the source on there vs my modular. In my case, that is 3 more noise ...

Oops! Good catch there! I hadn't noticed that and always assumed it was there. I usually use either a CP-251 or a noise source from my modular. In that case, I would have to agree that it would be money better spent to save towards a CP-251. Given the number of modules on it for the price, it is har...

I think it would be more economical to use a Vx-351 to patch the noise to the multiple. From there, you can route it to multiple locations (MURF, etc.).
