I really hope that Moog Music hold back a little, it's way too early to introduce an LP2. I mean what is wrong with the current LP???

I'm guessing it's a sales thing, it cannot be any other reason imo. USB is not neccessary, and the Arp thing is cool, but should be able to work in the LP with an OS ...

No Midi = useless for me.

Also how does this thing affect the Little Phatty??? I don't see that happening, i mean the Voyager Light has to be priced at say £999 inc Vat to touch LP sales imho.

Moog Music really need to work on this, why should we put up with this???

Ok, the LP sounds great, but no excuse for slack on build qaulity and poor component choice.

IMHO rack designs are a waste of time and so not inspiring to use, well atleast for me and others i know.

I have sold all my rack synths and replaced them with keyboard versions. Nothing beats the direct connection you get between a synth and it's keybed.

LP with the keys makes it a winner imo ...

The moog sound is admired and for good reason but personally I think one needs a mixture of tones so something like a Prophet08 or Andromeda adds to the mix nicely.

What can i say? I love my Moog LP, it is one of those instruments i own that makes me feel like playing bass and lead sounds. Yes, it's my first Moog, and i know that they are selling well...Moog really did get this machine right ...

Well, i recently got myself a new Stage edition after spending sometime with a Tribute unit, and being less happy with the noise floor.

The Tribute version had this backgorund interference leaking through on the output, which was present in most patches, including bass tones.

All the new stuff today is a hit 'n' miss imho. Alot of the stuff is rushed and put out the doors faster than the assembly time. I cannot stand most of the China made music gear, so much inconsistency. I own alot of it too, but it makes me wonder sometimes why i buy it.

A great sounding synth and a great looking one too. I love the simple design, and the knobs are very smooth and responsive.

I just wish the keys were a little (just a little bit or perhaps need to break in) quieter - all good though.
