Look at this video I did months ago.
It's just a Little Phatty and a Doepfer R2M.
I did not use MIDI but CV and gate out from R2M to Moog LP.

I was wondering if there's an hardware revision for the latest models like Stege II? If the answer is yes, can it be adjusted for Stage I or Tribute? My modwheel still works fine but it's even more loose... Please help, I'm worried for my beloved Little Phatty since I'm not going to sell it for the ...

The update for me wasn't very smooth... I have a Mac, for the dump I used Sysex Librarian and an Edirol UM-550 midi interface... The first time I tried to update to 2.0 I got the message FIRMWARE SX ERROR CODE 2... ...panic... Then I tried again and... success! I did it! The arpeggiator is awesome! ...

You can try to contact my friend Makassar: http://www.myspace.com/makassarattak He's a great luthier and lives in Italy but it's starting to ship his works worldwide. Here is what he did to my moog: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/216/473802077_50939fe928.jpg http://farm1.static.flickr.com/223/473802...

In my case I couldn't do anything... everything was tight. It's the pot itself that is loose... Replacing it it's the only solution... Anyway, if you want to take a look you only have to remove the side panel and the screws below the "metal box" where the wheels are placed. Amos, can you g...

Mine as well... After an year of playing the pitch wheel is squeaky and unstable to the touch, but it's still working good though... I opened my Phatty and I noticed that this is caused by the potentiometer itself becoming loose... I will keep it until it works, but now that we're at it, what kind o...

I use a pair of Genelec 8020. They are tiny but they sound huge.
They are the right choice for you room if you play at a decent volume and you want to hear moog's deep bass frequencies. A little expensive though...

Re: sticker

dave500 wrote:I have a LP TE and the writing on mine is a big sticker
I'm talking about the serigraphy on the front panel, not the "MOOG" on the back.

It seems that the writings are not painted on the metal anymore...

Great! I can't wait to put my hands on the new arpeggiator!!!

On the bad side, it seems that on the new LP 2, the writings on the front panel are not painted anymore but there is a huge sticker instead...
It feels a lot cheaper and poor...
Correct me if I'm wrong...

It's much easier than a theremin. The scale is regular so the intervals between the octaves have the same lenght.
I set the controller to 3 oct range and put a little mark on every octave.
If you have an average ear you can master it very quickly.
