We Need More Eurorack Modules from Moog!

06DC11AF-EE66-42B6-BFBB-E83DA031D56A.jpeg Okay, so I have the Mother 32 and DFAM racked up in half of my 12U case, along with “eurofied” versions of my MF-102 Ring Mod and MF-103 Phaser pedals, but I need more Moog! When are they going to release the last two “Engineer Pass” projects from Moogfest?...

Mic stand mount for Minitaur?

Hi, I mainly play the bass, and I control my Minitaur with a set of bass pedals (made by a guy off of eBay) with a wooden enclosure and organ pedals. I would like to use a standard microphone stand to make a pole mount between the bass pedals and the Minitaur, much like the old Moog Taurus II. Has a...

Re: It is great to finally be back!

Bryan B! Nice to see you here! I also started with a Moogerfooger setup with an MF-101, 102, 105B, 107 and a CP-251 which wetted my modular appetite enough that I sold them all about 4 years ago and started my Modular synth obsession. I now have a small size Moog 1P style cabinet with MU style modul...

I can sync my Murf to MIDI as well! There's a guy on eBay that has been selling a MIDI sync box for the MURF for the past couple of years.

I keep my MF-105B at the end of my signal chain, whether I use it for Bass guitar, ARP Solus, or to be a pseudo-sequencer for the MF-107, MF-101, or MF-102.

a friend of mine built a diy sequencer similar to that, but a little better i think. it had portamento, step switch so you could manually trigger the next step, coarse and fine tune pots for the cv, 16 steps instead of 10, and i believe a clock input as well as all the other ins/outs that the satur...

Henfield, for a nice CV/Gate mini-sequencer (plus, it's stand-alone), try the Technosaurus Cyclodon. 16 stages with an internal clock (or external DIN sync). I really like mine, but I'm not sure if they still make them. No, they don't make the small Technosaurus products like the Cyclodon or Mirodo...

If you are looking at various DIY builds, yes you must rely on your ears or a tuner to "program" a specific note. This is the way that classic analog sequencers worked. On a plus side, it allows these sequencers to work with both V/Oct synths (Moog, ARP, Roland) and with Hz/Oct synths (Yam...

Kevin,

I like your idea as well, it takes several of the product ideas that I have listed and puts them into one!

I think that it would be nice for Moog to offer some controllers that allows us to "play" the Moogerfooger pedals. We can use the MF-107, Carrier Oscillator from the MF-102, and the MF-101 (at full resonance) as sound sources, but we only have the Voyager Series synths that have CV outs to...

I thought that the directions were vague on the back panels and rubber feet, although I hated to take the wooden sides off of the middle unit!

I left the bottoms and feet on mine, as I was afraid that I would lose them.

cv outs on Etherwave Theremin

I have seen the article that outlines the addition of CV outs for the Etherwave Theremin. Has anyone attempted or installed this yet? It looks very complex, outside of what I am capable of doing. I was getting very interested in using a Thermin to control my MF pedals and ARP Solus, but once again, ...

I wish moog would offer an upgrade cv jack panel for the other side that could provide the right cv ins and outs to properly control the 107's pitch to properly use it as a third vco. The lp has so much potential with that audio in jack but is lacking some real important cv jacks. Maybe add the vx ...

BTW--in the interest of clarification.... the Roland GK pickups DO NOT output MIDI info -they DO output, as someone else said -- simply ...the sound of each string, all together down the 13-pin GK type cable.. Truly Hexaphonic sound... My bad, I thought that Roland had updated their pickup system i...

There is enough room to have right angle jacks (semi-permanently). There is not enough room to plug them in or pull them out when you use the space above them in the rack. So you would have to unscrew and remove something to adjust your cables is all. Yes there is room for some right angle plugs, j...
