Turnkey's policy appeared to be one of continual uselessness. Forum regulars may remember that when Sundae Club attempted to buy an Etherwave from them in 2002, Turnkey advised them that theremins were illegal to sell in the UK because they interfered with air traffic control and could bring planes ...

New Sundae Club Album for FREE!

Sorry (well I'm not actually!) for the spammy nature of the post, but stuffed full of minimoog Model D, Prodigy, a few 'foogers, Mellotron and the odd VCS3, Sundae Club's new album is here! Now available free of charge (although donations gratefully accepted via the PayPal button!) via our MySpace p...

Apart from the Acrosonic.... I almost got a new Kawai Upright Grand instead but there's just something about the Acrosonic's tone I liked...still sounds better than the pianos in any rompler...as long as I keep it tuned :D The tuning's the problem with those Acros! Spare a thought for the poor guy ...

Not really. If the price was driven up by demand, you could flog yours and buy something decent.

Oh, trust me -- I'd LOVE to have a genuine B3/Leslie rig in my home, along with a Fazioli F308 grand. Speaking as one who deals with Fazioli grands on a reasonably regular basis, I'd rather have a Hamburg Steinway D or even a B. Far less capricious. You're paying for the beautiful styling, finish, ...

Agreed Mr.Slave! The Opus was a decidedly budget affair, and certainly not a patch (see what I've done there?) on the Polymoog Keyboard it was meant to 'replace'. As string machines go it wasn't too bad, and the moogy brass is a bonus. The organ's shite though. It's simply not a 'real' synthesizer. ...

The one to watch will be the latest from Streetly Electronics! A bit more in common with the original Mk1 and 2 ! Keep an eye on the Interweb for it!

So, here are two photos of my rather dusty Mellotron 4Track... Its not much of a photo... From my understanding, there were only four 4Tracks made. http://lewistechnogroup.com/~mlewis/Photos/Mellotron4Track1.jpg http://lewistechnogroup.com/~mlewis/Photos/Mellotron4Track2.jpg Five I think! Apple did not get involved with Intel because PCs were faster. Top-end Mac processors have always been faster than PCs. I was horrified to read newspaper articles making vague statements that seemed to inaccurately suggest that Apple's processors have been historically too slow. Statements like &qu...

WAIT, I remember a thread here about some store in Europe not importing Theremins because the thought they brought down airplanes. Ha ha ha!! That was what I was told by the Turkeys at Turnkey! The UK branch of the Moog company in this thread is about 5 miles from my home in Gloucestershire. As a t...
