Re: Little Phatty CV Out mod pitch bend use?
I know this is a very old thread. However, in case anyone is interested, let me explain how I modded my LP Stage II's pitch CV out to include fine tune, glide, PW and the pitch from the MOD bus. Notice that my SN is below 8100 (see https://www.moogmusic.com/products/phattys/little-phatty-cv-out-modi...

Re: Preset Sysex Dump Documentation?
This has been asked before; see Opensource editor for SP/LP (was: sysex reverse-engineering) As Moog officially did not reply, I decided to go my way and make my own preset librarian Phatty . As it is open source, you can see the actual sysex messages used to communicate with the LP and how the pres...

Re: Specification of sysex format
jp-ma, I was thinking exactly the same thing, a Linux editor. In fact, I thought of officially asking Moog for the sysex implementation now that they discontinued the Phattys. Moreover, It would really be nice if moog could open all the Phatty related docs and even the source code. I read some weeks...

Re: And suddenly it was silent - Slim Phatty outputproblem

What Am I doing wrong? Tnx William Have you checked the output button? Basically, I'm writing because that hap...

Re: Little Phatty arpeggiator + stuck notes
Why won't Moog fix this? Shouldn't they fix their product so that it does work? Well, I don't know if they will or will not. But, based on the fact that the issue has been around for a very long time and no firmware update has addressed it successfully, I seriously doubt they will fix it now that t...

Re: Little Phatty arpeggiator + stuck notes
Same thing happens to mine. I opened a topic related to the issue several months ago ( http://forum.moogmusic.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=21607&hilit=missing+notes ). Sadly, I doubt Moog will fix this issue. The only hope is that Moog open sources the Phatty OS. There is a workaround, however. I...

That would be totally awesome!furiousgreencloud wrote:Would Moog ever consider opening the source code for the firmware? Especially for discontinued models/lines (like the L/Slim/Stage Phatties).
This would create much hackery fun.....

Re: The arpeggiator is missing notes sometimes
Stuka, thanks for the link but I had already installed the last release (Vers:3.21 690/33 as said in the advanced menu) and the problem was still there. I always thought that my problem was a common one and that it was going to be solved in the future. Buy now it seems it's a deffective unit or a mi...

The arpeggiator is missing notes sometimes
Hi all! I have a LP II since long ago and I have always had a timing problem with the arpeggiator. The problem is that a note is not played from time to time and a silence is played instead. I had never paid much attention to this but now I'm considering using it live and now it is. I read something...

Re: New Little Phatty / Slim Phatty firmware to test
Amos,
I will like to test it on a Mac (LP II and OSX 10.6 2006 first generation intel MacBook).
And thank you so much for the hard work.

Re: Amos: LP/SP Firmware Suggestions
Amos, would it be possible to have any kind of simple FM? It could be implemented in a couple of ways. 1. When using OSC2 as the modulation source, the pitch destination affects both OSC1 and OSC2. Is it possible to affect only OSC1? It rings my bell that both oscs share the same bus so it is not po...

Re: nth Little Phatty problem...
If it's always 1 in 3 then it could be that the polyphonic option is activated and set to 3 voices.
The phatty uses a round robin policy in polyphonic mode, if I'm not mistaken.
Take a look in the global menu and set it to 1 voice.
I hope it helps.

Re: slim phatty output volume
Not sure if this is related but I noticed my LP outputs no signal with the volume at 9 o'clock or below.
BTW, there is an option in a global menu which allows to increment the volume. Maybe you have different values in your phatties.

Re: C Key sounding different
It sounds like that C key is not tuned properly. Go to system utilities and perform the note calibration under the calibration submenu. I suggest you to take a loot at the manual and perform all the calibrations. There is an specific order but don't remember which. This has been commented in the for...

Re: 2 New LFO Features I'd Like for a future OS
A feature I'd like to see is Keytracking->LFO rate. That would be cool. I totally agree on this. Besides, it doesn't look like a very hard to implement feature. But don't know if there would be space left for this. LFO sync to arpeggiator internal clock......actually there is no way to sync lfo to ...
