Re: Some presets return no sound at all

Some questions and tests: Do you use the Voyager keybed for playing? If yes, undo all MIDI cables and test again. If you use a external keyboard, disconnect the MIDI Output of the Voyager for some testing. If you tested it via the keybed, try using a MIDI source. And if you use a external keybed, us...

Re: Minimoog and midi - just giving a steady sound.

What Minimoog are we talking about? Vintage or Reissue? You use the S-Trigger socket of the vintage one? You got the right jack for it (2-pin Cinch/Jones connector)? It isn't a ¼" one! The reissue Minimoog uses a ¼" trigger input and works with V-Trigger. Have you checked the outgoing sign...

Re: minimoog model d’s S-trigger with keystep

Is the Keystep able to send S-Trigger (actually a gate to ground)?
Most synths use a voltage trigger. And most analog interfacing of todays sequencers don‘t offer the needed S-Trigger.
There are converter available. It takes just two resistors and a transistor to do a converter.

Re: Next 1.5 update, when ?

Moog never fixed all bugs on the Taurus 3 because they said, that they will finish the Version 1 of some new synths first.
Same happened to the MP-201.
I would not bet on a version 1.5 being released. And for sure not hold my breath till then.

Re: From Sub37 to Model 15?

The Model 10/15 do sound different. And both do not sound like the Sub37. And the original Taurus does sound different too. The Model 10 901 VCOs sound more raw and bold as the later 921 VCOs of the Model 15. The Model 10 901 VCOs are most likely never scaling perfectly over more than 3 octaves. And...

Re: iIs your keybed 100% straight?

I got the Moog One and the Nonlinear Labs C15 here. They both got the very same type of Fatar keybed: TP/8S. And the both have a few less than a millimeter variations at some points. Also many other fatar keybeds have some variations. The Waldorf Quantum Fatar TP/8SK keybed. Or the ones used on the ...

Re: Voyager: change banks and presets via MIDI

Only the part left of the "=" and the part in parentheses is used for non hexadecimal or straight MIDI message data. Examples: second line: Sent CC #00 with value 00 and CC #32 with value 01 to get the first sound in Bank B. last line: Sent CC #00 with value 00 and CC #32 with value 06 to ...

Re: Can't get sustain pedal to work

There are two types of sustain pedals: they are either closed or opened when pressed. There is a setting in the Moog One to adapt with these to types. But I think this setting is somehow stored per patch, as some users had no problems with the sustain pedal on their own patches, but problems with fa...

Re: Considering getting One

The Moog One filters don't get this Moog Ladder Overdrive as much as the Voyager. I kept my Voyager and my Minimoogs. The Opus-3 uses oct<ve divider technique for the strings. The phase of each note is constant to the others. You don't get this from a notmal polyphonic instrument with individual con...

Knobs working depending on if you use the headphone or line out?

Wired!!!!

I can't think of any cause for such symptoms except you use the MIXER OUT/FILTER IN socket as line out.

Re: Preset change automation “help please”

There is no difference in the memory space used for the factory and user sounds. So you always overwrite s factory sound if you save a sound of yourself. And therefor there is absolute no difference in accessing the patches via MIDI CC. Preset #1 is either a factory or a user sound depending if you ...

Re: Voyager RME not working after a few years of being stored

I would check the battery. And if you already open the RME, you can exchange it anyway. And I think there was a way to get the factory patches back into the memory. It is described in the manual. Without valid memory content, the RME won't work as expected. And the firmware is not buffered by the ba...
