I own two reissues and a 1979 version. The markings are not accurate on all three.

Why should there be incorrect MIDI note-off messages?jsharpphoto wrote: ↑Thu Jun 25, 2020 12:17 am It also sometimes retriggers the note when I left my finger off the key. I think incorrect note-off messages might be causing these issues.
I would check for a MIDI loop.

Re: Multimoog Ground Loop Tuning Issue
Ground loops create an audible buzz at 60 or 50 Hz (depends on mains system). I never ever heard about this causing a bad tuning on analog synths. For a steady pitch, you need to have a well defined constant voltage at the VCO. And so my guess is a faulty PSU of your Moog or a massive voltage fluctu...

That was my guess.
It is like this in the english Wikipedia version. But not in the german or french version.
I remember these times very well, and I do trust my memory more than a single Wikipedia text.

A post yesterday in the Moog One Users Group on Facebook said: “One last final OS upgrade is due soon” We heard this for over an year now, just after some 1.5 bugs where discovered. Which source on Facebook? An official claim by Moog or by someone else? And I sent them mails about the key range not...

There are reliability issues with the SubPhatty rotary switches. I had to exchange them on my SubPhatty, when two became unusable. Maybe the very same part is used on the Sub37?

Re: My New Voyager is from “The Bad Chip Era”
There is a period of TI switching chips known to be faulty on Voyagers. As there are many of these chips used on the analog board, it is only recommended for experienced electronic soldering musicians to take care of this at their own risk. This is what Moog wrote many years ago: Dear Registered Own...

Re: Model D, Key problem
So you are talking about a vintage Minimoog. There are two rows of contact springs: one for pitch and one for gate/trigger. If the springs or the two bus bars (the metal parts the springs touch) are worn out their galvanized plating, the contact is not good anymore. The don't make contact at the sam...
