How about putting a highpass filter between your pedalboard and your amp input?

this reminds of something i've always wanted to try, but don't have the hardware to do... build a ring-mog vocoder!

since a ring mod's carrier imparts its frequency on the signal, i bet it would sound cool to have a bank (like 8 or 16) of fixed carrier frequency RM's keyed by a multiband analyzer ...

Key Not Firing At Low Velocities

Recently the B below middle C, stopped firing at low velocities. Only this key is affected. If i play the key with a low velocity, then apply aftertouch, the key will sound.

Any ideas?

I use a pair of Line6 Echo Parks. They model analog and tape delays as well as digital delay. They sound great, tiny, portable, rugged, and they have stereo i/o. By using a pair, I can put other effects between them (generally a pair of MF-103's).

And they only cost about $150 USD, brand new.

I don't think I could get used to a right-hand-side PB wheel, but I have often wished for another mod wheel on the other side.

It might be a matter of personal preference, but for me, adding the 251 to any mf (although I don't yet own/haven't tried a MuRF) made them like a whole new module to me.

For example... start with a 101. By itself, its a great module that you can use as a static filter, as a manually manipulated ...

1. Yes, in a general sense. This depends on your definition of a guitar-driven analog synthesizer. Things you can do with the current variety of MF's

A. Change the timbre of your guitar by filtering out frequencies (MF101, MF103, MF105).

B. Change the timbre of your guitar by adding sidebands ...

Pitch Bend Tension (was Jan Hammer Sounds)

I bend a lot. I developed most of my bend technique on a SC Pro-One and a Nord Lead-2. I find the pitch bend wheel on the Vger very hard to use due to the amount of tension on it.

I have removed the spring so that the PB wheel is free, like the mod wheel. I set up my Vger to be at normal pitch ...
