LP for Film Sound
Hey Everyone, If anyone's interested, I use a Little Phatty Tribute primarily for sound design for film...my personal work revolves around it, I'm waiting to get the opportunity to use it with a client, as most of the sound work I do is Production Sound... I've had my TE for a couple of years now an...

LP Case Alternatives
Like others I've read about on this forum my LP's gigbag is slowly biting the dust...broken zipper tabs replaced with wire loops etc... I'm hyper careful with my gear, and added extra padding to the gigbag, and somehow it sustained some light scratches on the upper corners last trip I took....big bu...

Re: Slim Phat Cheeks
Yeah I was kinda proud of that find, as that never happens to me...but I'd much rather see a nice glossy picture via Moog, soon enough I guess.

Re: Processing Computer Audio with MuRF
Yeah that sounds like a better setup, I get so PO'd by software sometimes...it's like, I love software by itself, and love hardware by itself, but occasionally when trying to use the two together feel like hitting everything with a hammer...I'm considering getting the Midi MuRF though, as I bought t...

Re: Processing Computer Audio with MuRF
Yep sure enough I found that External Effect riff raff...it sounded terrible and it's been seeming lately that my MuRF is giving off a low signal...but on the right track at least...maybe I'll try it with the 102

Re: Slim Phat Cheeks
yeah, from what I could tell, it was a rather substantial piece of metal bellow the actual SP, kinda makes me wish it had some knobs on it.... aesthetically at least

Processing Computer Audio with MuRF
I wasn't quite sure what to search for in relation to my query...so excuse any redundancies! What is the best way to effect a software synth with the MuRF? In this case lets say Ableton Live and an Mbox 2 Pro...Would I be right in saying coming out of one the mono outputs, into the "Audio In&qu...

Slim Phat Cheeks
So, after some accidentally inappropriate image Googling of "slim phatty cheeks", I found a picture of the wood sides in a gear buying holiday guide in the grocery store...be warned by WinMo P.O.S phone takes terrible photos, and the photo in there was already terrible...but you can see wh...

Re: Moog Slim Phatty
@ DomKane, I'm a sound designer myself, with the Tribute being my most invaluable creative tool...you certainly have a sweet gig with Moog! I didn't think sound designing could get more "dreamy" but I guess it can!!

Re: Moog Slim Phatty
haha yeah. You know it's listed at both Sweetwater and Novamusik right now for $795 http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/PhattySlim/ A couple of things I thought though...why did they change the buttons? curious if they're plastic or rubber... Also why they didn't add the CV outs, like on the upgr...
