Re: Voyager Fatar keyboard problem

Rudi,
you should not be working this weekend anymore.
Take a break and eat some Lebkuchen.
The brown ones are even better than the very dark ones, although both are EXTREMELY tasty.
Happy new year, Rudi - and everyone here at the forum !!!

Hi, mine is in perfect shape and still works great. I own two "real" Minimoogs and we put a third one next to it, to compare the sound. "We" are T. Wolf (who made the soundset for the Voyager) and me. We didn´t notice a big difference. The look of the instrument is slightly diffe...

KarnEvil, I own both. True, the Voyager is not that easy to cart around, but it is worth it. Although by not being a bad instrument, the Minimax is - in my opinion - another digital emulation, while the Voyager is a real instrument, or even more, something like a good violin or grand piano. I got bi...

Hi dkdent, didn´t experience any troubles so far with my MP 201. Maybe you should contact Stefan Hund from the german distributor EMC, if this appears again. I´m sure Stefan will be able to help or care for help for you. P.S.: I like your music, especially your really cooool looking CDX. Looks like ...

MC, thank you very much for sharing the information on these historical topics. You have an amazing knowledge of these things. What did Dave Luce do after Moog ? Is he still alive ? I´m very interested, ´cause the Polymoog is one of my all time favourites (I know you hate me for this, Rudi). A lot o...

Hi Amos, thanks for the fast reply and the nice patch. Compared to my Pollies (3 out of 4 working of them at the moment, quite a good number, I would say) the sound is a little bit to moogish in the best sense of the word (i.e. still to filter-dominated, even if you try the 1 pole or 2 pole filter-s...

Please Amos,

give us another nice Friday.

How ´bout a nice Polymoog-string patch or something modular-like from the Synton, which is standing in your corner (with the MurF-granddaddy on top).

If you post it, I won´t call you on a sunday again !!!

Share some magic !

Who said that Moog is the Mercedes among synths ? If I remember it right, Mercedes is the brand that only the bad guys drive (or did I watch too much "James Bond") ? I don´t like this comparison; Moog is brilliant, Mercedes something for old people with too much money (at least here in Ger...

Till: I only wonder why all the evolver panels are lying around there and Dave Smith says something like "I always stand here to control the boards, while standing at the big "oven". Anyway, I think you´re missing a lot of the outside world when not visiting a fair from time to time. ...

Till: At least the short film at youtube was called "Dave Smith instruments factory tour".
What the heck, I will ask him next Messe in Frankfurt. He´s usually there.
You´re gonna come, too ?

The only danger for my Voyager is actually me ! We had a gig in 2005 where we were filming a video of the performance. I ordered a special edition Voyager for that event (backlit panel, oak wood, big signature from Bob on the wood above the keys). I even bought a big flightcase from EMC, the german ...

In my opinion the Bass Murf is wonderful for keyboards, too. Anything with enough power concerning the treble area of a sound fits perfectly. I much prefer the Bass Murf in combination with an old string ensemble to the "normal" Murf. An ARP Omni or a solina through a Bass Murf is one of m...
