As far as I know, none of the XLs have a back light. There is no mention in the XL manuals.

Thanks for posting this ! i've owned a Quadra for the past 25 years and love it. Although the Quadra has gotten a bad rap over years for it's quirky design and it's membrane switch issues, it is a great sounding analog machine and a blast to play.

Why would I buy Moog modular components? Even though I have 88 MU spaces

Cause you aint in the big leagues yet, at least until you can hang with the 110 + space systems... keep trying, you'll get there.

If Moog came out with a 904A clone (perhaps with some varied power and connector options), I think they'd have all bases covered.
They would immediately find buyers with Synthesizers.com and other Moog format modulars ready to buy.
