I find that tube amps tend to have a lot of their *own* character, to the point where it detracts or muddles the moogerfoogers' sound... not to mention that the frequency range on guitar amps are so limited. Basically I want the sample-and-hold to continue as a note is sustained (which works fine with the drive on the MF-101 cranked).
