Octaves / Harmonies with MF-107 FreqBox?

My apologies if this has been addressed elsewhere. Can the FreqBox be used for things like octave-up effects and unintelligent-harmonizing (like parallel fifths, for example)? I feel like that should work, but I haven't really seen or heard anyone using it that way. Any "feedback" or links to demos ...

Re: Under Two Grand???

Right, I'm familiar with the term in general. I'm just wondering what it means for this specific product. I'm hoping it's merely a cosmetic issue, because I can deal with that. If it's anything to do with the electronics, no thanks!

But the other models have had their prices cut, too! This must be ...

Sorry, Vance. I was just trying to be silly. (I wanted to watch this topic for replies so that I, too, could see new Moog guitar videos, whenever they might emerge. Hence my previous parenthetical comment.)

Yup. You can see/hear it in the videos. Two videos of the E1 are on YouTube: A GOOD one from Moog, and another one from SweetWater.

SweetWater has updated their prices. It's now $3195.97 for the fixed bridges, $3395.97 for the vibrato tailpiece. (Big pet peeve. Sorry.)

Finally, a little news. I just discovered that SweetWater's website finally has the E1 available for pre-order. BUT you kinda have to hunt for it. It's not (as of this second) listed with the other Moog "Solid Body Guitars", nor is it in the "Electric Guitar Collector's Corner". Also if you do a ...

Still no lefty version so what is there to talk about???

:P
You could Jimi-flip it, but there's a LOT of knobs and crap to get in the way.

ANYWAY...

Sweetwater has FINALLY gotten around to posting their Summer catalog on line! It's in there. List $3595, their price $3295.97.

This is bizarre. There's plenty of information out there on the MIDI MuRF. Isn't a half-priced (more or less) Moog Guitar A LITTLE more news/buzz-worthy? But three days after NAMM is over, we still seem to be the ONLY ones talking about this, except for a couple of TINY blurbs.

Maybe Google is ...

As a general rule, when I see a product with words like "Collector Edition" on it, I don't bet on it becoming collectible. Not to say it couldn't go up in value. But the REAL collectibles are collectible because no one thought to collect them.
