i use an MPC and love it.

no editor came with mine and i haven't read anywhere or heard from anybody that the upgrade wound include the editor.

the zip file contains 6 sysex files - one for the first 6 banks (bank 7 is all Default so i left it out)

Came today. Haven't had a ton of time to play with it yet but I did check and see that it came with version 3.0. as many of you have noticed the price of the rme has been increased (moog went from $2195 to $2395) to account for the upgrade. i just called moog to check on my order and to try and ensure that my unit comes with the 3.0 upgrade and they gave me the low down on the price increase.

i've read through this thread and i'm slightly confused.

i ordered an rme a few weeks ago and it has yet to arrive. apparently it's still sitting in NC fully tested and waiting for a knob shipment before it can be boxed up. i am curious to know what OS version and board i should expect to come with ...

i ordered an rme last week and can't wait for it to get here. after about a year of reading and watching i too finally broke down. some folks i know tried to talk me out of it and steer me towards some other synths with similar functionality but i had to go with my heart and my head on this one ...

I have a few questions here about cases for the RME

1. What sort of cases are people using with their RMEs? Anybody out there drop theirs yet while in a case? Did the case protect the synth?

2. The 5U form factor is a bit odd - does anybody have a 5U case or are you using and 8 or 10 and sharing ...
