Re: Headphone out too loud and the basic noise floor significant
I think that since the synth is on the louder end, the noise floor is more noticeable because usually it is not turned up very loud. I notice the noise floor doesn't seem so bad when the synth is turned up all the way.

Re: Nitpicky item thread
A couple of other things that I have found.
The LED on the modulation frequency knob appears to just show how far the knob is turned up, not the state of the wave like the other LFOs.
On both the filter and the delay, when the link button is pressed, adjusting the left knob still shows the value ...

Nitpicky item thread
I like the muse a lot!! I think it needs a little polishing, and I was thinking we should make a hopeful wish list of things we would like to see someday. So post your little pet peeves about the muse here. I'll start.

Re: Headphone out too loud and the basic noise floor significant
I agree that the synth is overall very loud, and that the headphone out is pretty loud. I don't think its too bad though, and i think the big problem for me is that there is not much control when the level is low. Its like the difference between off and 1% is too big, and I want finer control from ...

Re: Matriarch style mono envelopes on Muse poly patches
That is a good idea, I will try some more creative solutions like that for now. Please consider adding a feature for this moog! Maybe all I need is a mod destination for envelope triggering. Then you would be able to use the envelopes with a bit more flexibility, like using aftertouch to fire an ...

Disappointing Envelopes
Have any of you noticed how little control there is of envelope timing when the times get short? On the matriarch an other synths I have there is quite a lot of control when the envelope time is very short, so the attack on plucks and such can be precisely tuned in. On the muse, there is not very ...

Re: Matriarch style mono envelopes on Muse poly patches
steve_moog this is close to what I want but not quite. What I want is almost the effect of turning multitrig off in mono mode, but in a polyphonic way, I want all the voices envelopes to act as one. While the "voice steal from" set to release does make this work for stolen voices, I want it to ...

Re: Muse individual volumes for double parts missing?
steve_moog does it not work because the knob is too far away? It doesn't change the tone of the sound. I like your idea about using the macro knob.

Matriarch style mono envelopes on Muse poly patches
I would love to see a setting in the envelope more pages for a mono firing envelope, that could be used on polyphonic patches. I really like the way the matriarch's paraphonic voice modes affect the "handling" so to speak of the filter envelope.
