Re: Progress update on Moog One firmware?

And now we can stick a fork in this thread because the v1.8.0 firmware is done! Yay!

Re: Progress update on Moog One firmware?

And it seems I have to follow up to my own thread again today after reviewing the news. I'm largely copying/pasting the OP because it's still 100% relevant. Sadly.

As much as I'm happy to see Moog Music launching the new Messenger product today (and other products of late), I can't help noticing ...

Moog One output level: professional or consumer?

I'm surprised I can't find this data in the manual, but is the Moog One main output level professional (i.e., +4 dBu) or consumer (i.e., -10 dBV)? I would expect the former, but it sure seems like the latter.

Re: Glide problem

Unless I'm mistaken, the glide starts from wherever you last left off. So when you first engage it, the pitch will glide to the next note you play from the previous note you played . And it seems to "remember" this even when you turn glide off, or at least that's how I've approached it. If you're ...

Non-zero amplitude AFTER release?

I'll be honest: the Moog One amplitude envelope handling throws me every time I come back to it, and I think it's because so many of my other synthesizers over the years let you specify a time and a level for each stage. Whereas in contrast, the Moog One gives you an amazingly powerful envelope with ...

Progress update on Moog One firmware?

As much as I'm happy to see Moog Music launching the new Muse product today (and other products of late), I can't help noticing that we flagship-synthesizer owners of the Moog One are still stuck with a product that needs a firmware update. Can we please get an ETA? A progress update? Confirmation ...

Re: Moog One Firmware Upgrade.

I bought mine a couple months ago from Sweetwater and am also glad I did, whether get another firmware update or not. The thing is a beast!

Hey there, "neighbor", mine is 1602999, so I'm guessing mine came off the line right before yours. Nice to "meet" you!

Logitech K750 Wireless Keyboard for Mac works with the Moog One

I've been developing more of my own patches of late, and while I've grown somewhat more proficient with using the synth keys to enter text it's nowhere near my usual 160 WPM typing speed. I started researching keyboards I could buy that would work, reading forum posts, etc. until I had an idea ...

Re: Moog One Firmware Upgrade.

I saw a comment in a different thread (which alas I cannot now find again) from someone who claimed to have reliable knowledge that at least one more firmware update was still being worked. That's the best I can offer on that point. As to Sweetwater, they have one less as of a month-plus ago when I ...

Re: Ladder filter "bug" with notes sneaking through

I know I'm replying to my own post, but I thought it worth the update. The Moog One support folks got back to me this morning and asked me to send them a video. When I went to capture that, I found the problem is no longer happening. If it happens again, I will definitely take that video and update ...

Ladder filter "bug" with notes sneaking through

I was fiddling around with my Moog One, trying to educate myself about all the wild flexibility of the filters, when I came across what I can describe only as a "bug" that allows notes to "sneak through" the ladder filter. To reproduce it, take the following steps:

Initialize a patch to the ...

Re: Final Analysis....

For all you 16 voice owners out there, would you do it again, even in light of possibly no new firmware updates on the horizon?

I was on the fence for a long time. I wanted a Moog One since the day it was released for so many reasons, but all the negative reviews kept me from taking the plunge ...

Known bug that mod wheel is off during compare?

I'm wondering if maybe I found a known bug or whether I should report it somewhere. I'm new here, and some searching I did failed to turn up anything, so I thought I'd ask. I only recently acquired my Moog One, and I still have a lot to learn. I've found the compare button to be very helpful in that ...
