OK, found out the error is at the sequencer side.
It automatically sends a note-off whenever a new note is triggered.

Grandmother: Legato through MIDI?? is it possible?
Anyone can help me? I'm sequencing the Grandmother, but when I send a new note, without sending a note off, the envelope generator is triggered. When playing the keyboard in legato this isn't the case (as it should be when in factory default.) I'm trying to achieve a legato using my (external) seque...

Re: Matriarch OSC bleed, Clock Ticking, Speaker Popping on Power = Bad PSU
Yes, I have a Grandma, and the supplied PSU is a bit crappy. It's indeed through the earth things are picked up. It even bleeds the earth when the synth is turned off. The PSU is bad by design, best is to change to a PSU which isn't plugged into an earth, or a dedicated PSU for audio purposes, such ...

Re: Weird tuning issue on Grandmother
Did you calibrate without any patch cables plugged?
If something is changing the pitch of the oscillators, calibrating might yield very funny results. (Such as connecting the S/H out to an osc pitch in)
(Maybe also set the modwheel down, although I expect calibrating would automatically do that.)

I'd just try support[at]moogmusic.com
Worked for me.

Re: Did I damage my matriarch?
2 outputs in the Mult is no problem to my knowledge. The Mult can be used to mix sound 2 outputs together, that's what you did. If it sound less dull, you probably touched the filter frequency, or the oscillator waveform. Or the phase between oscillators might be different than before. These synths ...

Re: New Grandmother Osc 1/2 not working
Calibration didn't finish properly, both the Oscillators were back after that.

Re: New Grandmother Osc 1/2 not working
I sometimes have a similar issue. Osc1 stops working, usually just turning off and back on does the trick, but not now. Now also Osc2 stopped working, only noise gives sound. I'm recalibrating right now to see if that helps. Hope it does not last endlessly, I was on a good session, creating a nice &...

Re: Grandmother: MIDI Arp sync: triplets are incorrect
OK, no response on this. I have not tried this again, but I guess the problem could be solved by adjusting the PPQN (Pulses per quarter note) in the clock settings. Likely for correctly syncing to triplets, one needs a number dividable by three. I'll post here whether this works or not, once I check...

Grandmother: MIDI Arp sync: triplets are incorrect
I just bought a Grandmother. Currently I'm experimenting with MIDI sync, so I can play a sequenced beat on my sequencer (Renoise), and play live, using the GM arpeggiator (or sequencer) to sync on the beat. When turning the rate knob of the arp/seq part to a rate which triggers on every beat, twice ...

Grandmother: OSC1 sometimes does not work / MIDI issues
I just purchased a Grandmother. I have two very annoying issues: 1. Sometimes OSC1 does not work. To fix this, I need to turn the synth off & on again. If I'm lucky, OSC1 works, if I'm unlucky I need to repeat turning off & on again. Waiting (to warm up) does not help. 2. I tried to experime...
