Here's the answer from Moog Tech Support and verified by me: power off; hold Root & Setup; power on. The display even says Factory Reset and tells you to recalibrate. Haven't done it yet, but they also said that to take the case apart, you remove the 4 screws on the bottom, then remove the feet ...

I'm in my first 24 hours with a Theremini, and noticed that all the pots "wiggle". That's why I'm trying to open the case to see if anything can be done to sturdy them up. The knobs appear to be push-on (no setscrews), but with the whole thing wiggly, I'd be afraid to push or pull much.

How do you do a factory reset on a Theremini? Don't get any hits on a search of the manual, but forum posts mention doing it.
And, BTW, how do you open the case? Removing the 4 bottom screws doesn't seem to help. The Curious need to know!

If the noise problem goes away by running it on a battery (pure DC), then it sounds like a power supply problem.
