I would try a calibration. I don't see any way to get the result you are normally.

Hold SHIFT and HARD SYNC for one second to enter Global Edit Mode.
Hold down the PLAY, HOLD, and TAP buttons and press the lowest note on the keyboard.

Yeah use balanced. I had a ton of noise until I switched over. TS works until you can get them.

Like the Mavis, I don't think it's possible to disconnect the KB from influencing the pitch of the oscs.

MIDI sync generally works fairly well, and is what I use the majority of the time.

Definitely make sure it's set to LP / LP filter. One thing about the Matriarch is that it's a stereo synth, but only after the mixer module. Yes, they're both eurorack compatible synths. You may have trouble with some inputs expecting 0-10v when you have a -5/+5 output, or vice versa, but that's what modules which offset and attenuvert are for.

The Grandmother has the most noise of any synth in my studio, except maybe the Matriarch when it is powered down. I get around it by running it eurorack out and then from my modular through a balanced output.

I was feeling bad I hadn't gotten to this - mine's still patched.

My Matriarch is patched up for recording right now but I'll try this when I'm done with this song if noone else can. (might be a few days) I've been meaning to work through that patchbook anyway.

Does this happen even with all the oscillators turned down?

Have you tried performing a reset?
