Re: Headphones for deep hearing ? [ Dark Matriarch & Subharmonicon ]
Dt770 is best for vocals and voice because they seem to exclude a lot else.
Synths, AKG, Don't, AT, Sehnheiser open give more bass accuracy, closed it bleeds less through mic.
There is no best lol, there is accurate though.

That something is the modular style filter colouration think from the modular systems. Puts it in late 60s early 70s. Similar to mini Moog.
Cheap = behinger model D
Personally I'd get a neutron, in fact I did. Grandmother and neutron is so rich dark old fat warm etc. Almost Buchela.

Re: Can moog sound like harpsichord? If yes waht I need for it?
Generally analogs are not known for the pluck or hammer hit (most people go on about bells and FM). It's down to the slower attack rates by adsr synths. That is why bells, plucks etc became more possible with FM. Personally not my choice, I'd go for sample based synth or real. It's a really complex ...

Re: Non-DAW recording studio hardware suggestion
Get a 24 bit Tascam, Boss, Roland multitrack with a digital out (file transfer or other system like memory card) your home CPU can read. They are cheapish and can do all.

Re: Grandmother - calibration, patches and the don‘ts
I'm replying 2 weeks late. :roll: What was the question? Don'ts 1. Buy a Boog neutron, it's rich & creamy, dark n deep, easily scary n screamy like morphing buchlas. Experimental Moffat filter with lfo morph and analogue delay? 2. Don't stop the update, even if it's taken until may 5th? Did it b...

Re: Best complement for Grandmother ?
Yup got a neutron. 48 patch points with no idea wtf is going on. Took 20 mins to get a squeek. Midi works but I don't understand what to patch from the granny to also trigger the note on the neutron like midi. The analog delay is nice and complementary to the reverb, Sounds very deep indeed. - modul...

Adding CV hardware to my Granny
Hello, I want to add some analog cheap synth rack to the top of my Grandmother to make a mega granny with CV. Been looking at crave, model d, neutron, monologue, you know second hand cheap things or Eurorack modular stuff i’ve never got into. I have a classy ribbon controller for it by doepfer, but ...
