Update: I opened up the Theremin and noticed that that Silver tape that seems to need to be adhered to the case was peeled upwards touching one of the metal wires. I secured that silver piece of tape back to the base inside and now it is working. I guess having that tape come undone inside somehow ...

I have had my Theremin for a few years now and all the sudden when I use it I only get a high pitch sound no matter where I place my hand or am in proximity of the Theremin. I tried adjusting the volume and pitch nobs etc but no change. Is something broken with it? I am not experience in fixing ...
