I really really love the way you can hold notes to create long/intricate/weird/etc "arpeggio" patterns on the Matriarch. Once I got my head around it, I found myself using the ARP way more often that the Sequencer just because it's so musical and fast to set up a pattern. Alas, you can't save ARP ...

I often find myself wondering the same thing. Generally I just futz with the knob until I find what I'm looking for but yeah, it's a futz.

Matriarch USB MIDI "just works" for me on all my USB host devices, no driver needed. Pardon the silly question but have you tried a different USB cable and/or port on your mac?
