Re: Ever-So-Slight Hum Coming from Model 15 Reissue?

Is it part of the audio signal / disturbing the audio signal or just a hum from the power transformer? Pretty sure it's coming from the power transformer, definitely not the speakers (SNR is extremely good, I'm happy to say). Someone on ModWiggler recommended tightening the screws that fasten it do...

Ever-So-Slight Hum Coming from Model 15 Reissue?

Hello,

I'm probably nitpicking here but for the money I paid I want to be 100% sure everything is working as intended!

My Model 15 makes a quiet hum when it's powered on, is this normal? I'm guessing it is but I just wanted to be sure. Thanks!

Re: Moog Model 12

I'm guessing you know what I know, that it was limited compared to the 10 and 15. Are you looking for one? What makes it different than the 10 and 15?

Re: Choosing between Model 10 and 15

Well I did it, I made a down payment on a Model 15. :D Hoping to have it sometime in May. I'm looking to control it with an Arturia KeyStep (with S-trig converter cables). Even if I get a Complement B someday, I think I would still like to have the unique features of the KeyStep sequencer and arpegg...

Re: Choosing between Model 10 and 15

I 'settled' for the 10 only because I wanted one of the vintage 'portable' modulars and the 10 was in production so ordered one new (took most of a year to get it) and I have no regrets. Very similar to where I am, considering the 10 in part because it's what's currently in production. Interesting ...

Ah yes, that is a huge advantage, indeed...big fan of PWM.

Choosing between Model 10 and 15

Hello all, got into Euro about 2.5 years ago and got a Matriarch a few months ago. I had the privilege of trying a vintage Model 15 last weekend. I didn't know what to expect and really enjoyed the hour I spent with it, so I'm now considering investing in a Model 10 or 15 reissue. Right now I'm lean...

Re: Moog Model 10 and S-Trig

Just wanted to say that I am looking to invest in a Model 10, and I am interested in pairing it with a KeyStep, and this thread answered my questions one hundred percent. Thank you, contributors!

White on black sounds cool. I only have a black on white one, unused.

Re: Matriarch Sequencer Octave Glitch?

Adding to my list of potentially-related glitchiness, the octave transposition functionality seems to choose to default back to the middle octave at random while pressing certain button combinations. Holding SHIFT then pressing < KB might move it down one octave from the middle, but then a second pr...

Re: Matriarch Sequencer Octave Glitch?

I believe I found another bug with the sequencer: When I switch to a one-note sequence while in FW/BW mode, and I switch back to a sequence with more than one note, the sequencer remains stuck on one note until I switch it out of FW/BW to ORD or RND. It doesn't look like Moog responds here so I will...

Re: Matriarch Arppeggiator stopping on triggers in FW/BW repeat off setting

Hey, just so you know, I was able to recreate your issue with my Matriarch. ORD and FW/BW with Repeat ON were fine, it was only an issue with FW/BW Repeat OFF.

I'm having an issue with the sequencer myself. Perhaps the arp/seq code needs an overhaul...?

Matriarch Sequencer Octave Glitch?

Hello, I have been learning my Matriarch in earnest and I have run into an issue with the sequencer. The glitch appears to be that the sequencer is, without prompting, accidentally switching to the lowest keyboard octave while the play button is pressed. When it happens, if I turn off the play butto...

Thread revival. I'm a new Werkstatt owner. I am having a ton of fun with it and I am considering upgrading the knobs. Where is everybody at with their knobs? Looks like these could be good? Can anyone verify that they won't cover up the writing? https://smallbear-electronics.mybigcommerce.com/synth-...

Re: Upgraded my Werkstatt

The wood casing looks great! I like how you accommodated for the overhang of the CV board so it doesn't look like it's sticking out! I just got my Werkstatt and I love it. I'm hesitant to upgrade the knobs because I personally don't like the idea of the control names being covered up, but I would de...
