That actually sounds like exactly what is happening to one of my SDs. I guess because it was intermittent the NZ techs that Moog recommended didn't understand the problem yet they 'fixed' it, still happens.

When you get it back post an update as to if they fixed the problem or not.

Thanks

I haven't tried a 101, but I've got a Meatball. To be honest they're two different beasts, Lovetone pedals tend to be very transparent which is one of the things I love about them while moogers judging from my delay do colour your tone and add their own character to but they do it well. I imagine if...

So I finally got the Lovetones today, this is what I've gathered so far... The ? is very very nice. Like many people said I've found it can go from phasing (but it's very subtle phasing), to flanging, to chorus, aswell as psuedo reverb and a bit of slapback too (both somewhat noisy), plus tremolo, P...

I would buy a couple of these when I can afford it. Ernie Ball VP Jrs modded to be expression pedals; http://www.toneczareffects.com/lg-prod-exp.htm . Does he sell the modded Ernie Balls by themselves? I assumed he'd be selling them exclusively as controllers for his tremolo and delay pedals. I've ...

Opeth, that would be cool. Do you now have a 102 also? Could you compare the two when they arrive? (gotta love the photo-theremin CV :) ) When it comes to effects, I think the quirkier and crazier the better. Don't emulate; reinvent! The Ring Stinger is going to be my first ring mod, so I can't rea...

WOW! That guitar sounds ALIVE! A bit pricey, but sounds worth it. Anyone tried Bel Electronics Flangers? Or Lovetone "?" (flange with no name). I know they cost, like, a thousand dollars, but you never know. I just bought the Lovetone ? and Ring Stinger, I'll describe the flanger for you ...

Both my SD's are fine. Though I've only played them occasionally since I got them because I'm waiting for a new amp and I loathe my practise amp. I almost always have the feedback at just under seven (ie. before self occilation) and nothing bad's happpend. I don't use an expression pedal for anythin...

Update; The Recto was sold recently because I wasn't too happy with the cleans. Next amp is gonna be a Diezel Einstein 1x12 w/reverb  , already talked to Peter Stapfer of Diezel and mine is being made right now . Has both a parallel and a serial effects loop, not to mention gorgeous clean and d...

There is a difference, not it noise though in my opinion. The long delay is a fair bit more lo-fi though. Hard for me to describe since this is my first analog delay.

Hope that helps.

Well I don't think it's very nice, but that's life. For example I'm a big Lovetone fan and some asshole basically controls the monopoly on ebay and jacks up prices by buying the cheaper ones off ebay and selling them for more. I do loathe those types of people, but you simply can't stop them. Person...
