I think its a certainty that Moog will release a new analog polysynth - the technology has been established/refined for a number a years now. Its not us mere mortals that will dictate the production of a polysynth....its the big name key players that are/have been requesting a new poly for some time...

Voyager Old School + Kenton USB Solo (Midi/CV convertor)

Hi folks... I've got an interesting dilema... I've just bought a Kenton USB Solo to use with my OS. In the Moog manual it states that 0 to 5+ volts is sufficient to drive the various functions (pitch, gate, filter etc) - but in my case, the synth is unresponsive @ 5v - I have to get the Kenton to ou...

Polysynth, chorus pedal and drum machine.... In that order... DS There is a chorus pedal, get a CP-251 for the 104Z a type of BB delay effect? I've got a 251 - how do you set the 104Z up to behave like a chorus? I was hoping for a dedicated chorus pedal at some point. I really think Moog could make...

Yes, I get this...and its normal.

I also use the Old School - when all oscilators (and noise generator) are switched off...I get a subtle (yet noticeable) white noise hiss that follow the EG settings...

Some analog synths do this....some dont - so dont worry.

Re: Squeaky key

Hey all. One of the keys on my Voyager has a slight squeaky noise. Should I be concerned? Is there something I can do? It isn't too big of a deal as long it doesn't lead to something worse...just a little annoying. I have a Voyager Old School which has two keys which make a funny noise...its the sp...

Sorry, but your wrong. Moog are currently designing a polysynth and some big named artists are providing input on its design. Sure, the current economic crisis will delay its ultimate release....but I know they are investing R&D on the circuit design. Expect a release within 3-5 yrs. Thats not ...

These rumours pop up every six months. I'll repeat the official word from Bob Moog back in 2003: "We can build one, but we're not going to" An analog polyphonic is too big of a project for a company the size of Moog. The moog company that built the Memorymoog back in 1982 was a different ...
