Aw, I think I finally got it, my issue had to do with a misunderstanding about single channel mode verses quad. Think I have it now... Sorry for a premature post.

I wanted to try using the the foot switches as gate triggers. Something I'm missing though. Using the foot switch also controls functions on the mp-201 itself in addition to sending out the midi CC# or note# you assign to it. I'm not seeing a way to manage this in the manual. I got a cp-251 and vx-251 in a rack together used. I took them apart and out of the moog rack chassis or whatever it's called. The vx-351 had the power supply wire connected to the cp-251 so the cp-251 would be powered up as well when the 351 was connected to the voyager. I'm putting the wood panels ...

I just got a voyager today, and wanted to try running other signals through the filters. I plugged a guitar to external in and can't hear it from the main out. The external LED is lighting up, and I can hear the guitar if I connect from Mixer Out/Filter In, but that doesn't run it through the filter ...
