Tried upgrading to 3.2. No difference. Tried downgrading to 2.5. No diff. However, now all patches sound the same. Controls behave unpredictably. Downgrade to 2.1. Filter controls now work. However, patches still all the same scrambled noise (diff one this time). Tried 1.5. Filter controls not worki...

Filter controls have stopped working!
Hi Yesterday my Voyager worked fine. Today it doesn't. If I turn the filter cutoff or resonance knobs nothing happens. The values change on the screen so the potentiometer itself definitely works. The Filter envelope also works so the filter circuit itself must be fine. I'm guessing the software mus...

Worrying Voyager problem... repair job?
Hi. I'm concerned about the health of my Voyager and it is just a few days till the end of my warranty(!). I need some advice. Sorry it's a long post but I'd really appreciate any advice. I have had my Voyager nearly a year and it usually behaves impeccably in the studio. I had had a problem with it...

This is all very intersting. It does sound like I have exactly the same problem as you. I hadn't thought it could be heat related, I had only thought about power conditioning. Will be a pain to get it fixed though as I'm in the uk and don't live too near to london. Also, as you say it will be very h...

In my case even switching off then on didn't always work. At any given time it could have been playing up or behaving fine. Very strange. I was my expanding my (usually predominantly laptop based) club-set for the first time. This was a test-gig really but I don't know if I want to go hard-at-it pro...

Playing Live - Very Strange Voyager Behavious
Hi I took my Voyager out my studio to play it live at an event in a club on friday night and experienced some very strange behaviour. The LCD screen constantly flashed up either the current value of the mod 1 knob or one of the octave control switches. As if someone was constantly wiggling them. Sou...

Yes, live will let you see the recorded data. In fact, I conducted this experiment with my Kenton control freak last night. It appears to show that it is indeed live that is causing this behaviour. All of the following was carried out with record arm on and record overdub off. I set up a fader on my...

Anyone use their Voyager alongside Ableton Live?
Hi. I posted this on the Ableton forum but I was hoping someone here may use Ableton alongside their Moog and may be able to help me. I'm currently hoping to add my Moog Voyager (I'm sure this probs will apply to any MIDI-enabled keyboard) to my club set. However I'm experiencing some dificulties. I...

Click on attack normal?
Hi. Just wondering if the behaviour of my Voyager is normal? When playing a bass sound I get very audible clicks on the attack of the sound as I lower the filter cutoff. This click lessens as you increase the attack but when raised enough to get rid of the clicking, the sound is no longer punchy. Ju...

Increasing resonance greatly decreases volumje. Normal?
Hi. I've noticed something with my new Voyager and I was wondering if it was a normal characteristic. Increasing the resonance significantly decreases volume. This seems to occur but to a lesser extent on my Juno 106. I also have a Korg MS-20 filter clone and here you appear to be able to whack the ...
