Re: Using a pedal to control CV on Grandmother
As the old analog CP-251 and MP-201 devices call extraordinary prices on the used market, I ask here if there are any other 3rd party pedal controller, which could be configured to output some matching control voltage. With cheap attenuverter module the scaling could be adjusted to the own needs, wi...

Re: Grandmother Arp rate (too fast?)
My arpeggiator rate seems to be very fast compared to some Grandmother videos I see on the web. It works fine, but if I keep the knob at the minimum rate it seems that the bpm are 80, halfway 180, at the max I can't count them (very very fast). Ensure you don't have any CLOCK IN or MIDI IN clock co...

Re: Problem with Grandmother
I suppose by VCO MODE SWITCH you mean VCA <- A! MODE switch? If the MIDI OUT reacts correctly to the three different positions of this switch, this control cannot be the problem cause. First I would check if it got some mismatch in the internal memory regarding local note on/off. Global settings D#2...

Re: Matriarch: multiple oscs sound is phasey, volume and bass loss
: The sound passes through a phase where all bass disappears and there's a nasally little top down resonance sweep-like sound. It sounds like a wrinkle. : Can confirm it depends on the wave type and pitch. But it is typical for analog synths with more than one VCO: A slightly detune (beating) is &q...

Re: Grandmother filter tracking + knobs sensitivity
No, most of your issues are really odd.
The only knobs which are very sensitive on mine are the attack & decay controls. But meanwhile I'm used to and I don't worry about it.

I suggest you look at the Patch Place group for these devices in FB. It seems to be the most active.

Re: Patch points for CV Control of Matriarch
I tested and it looks like the following are normalled (no need to mult): osc pitch in is normalled to the osc to the right (but none of the other osc points like PWM or lin FM) So patching into osc1 sets the pitch for all 4... I stand corrected: It is exactly as you describe. I derived my answer f...

Re: Patch points for CV Control of Matriarch
Hi! If I want to sequence matriarch via CV, what patch point do I use for pitch and gate? I see there are inputs on each oscillators, but are they normaled together or do I need to mult to get four copies so that I patch into all of the oscillators or is there a better input. Yes, one voice one pit...

Re: Global edit functions not working in Grandmother v1.1.3
I came directly from old 1.0.6 version to the new 1.1.3 back on June. First thing I tried was exactly this: SHIFT+SYNC A#2+G#0 it gave me the correct information with the lamp buttons blinking one - one - three. But I did have to repeat twice the last steps of the firmware update procedure until it ...

Re: Is it possible to modulate the rate of the arp in the Grandmother?
I'm also curious. The problem is not the signal from LFO WAVE OUT (through ATTN) to CLOCK IN. I did also play around with that combination for other purposes. After a while the SEQ/ARP locks in and can be triggered by the LFO. The problem is you are sending a fixed rate (frequency) to the clock. The...
