Re: Panelsettings and sound om my Minimoog Voyager change spontaneously

Thanks for your comprehensive and clear response, your description of the problems you had with your Voyager look exactly similar to mine. I guess there is nothing else for me to do but get the powersupply replaced as well. But given the experiences described in your reply, this might be the right s...

Re: Panelsettings and sound om my Minimoog Voyager change spontaneously

Thanks for your quick and clear response. Could this instability regarding the power to the knobs perhaps be caused by a (faulty) power supply or possibly something else (loose contacts etc.)?

Panelsettings and sound om my Minimoog Voyager change spontaneously

The display panel on my Voyager cycles like crazy through all of the knob settings. Sometimes it is gone for a few days, a few weeks or even some months, but unfortunately it always reappears. At first I thought it was some kind of midi-loop but even after disconnecting all the other gear (laptop, m...

Re: Voyager Electric Blue Envelope Issues (and other things)

Hi Rob, I have exactly the same issue (display panel has been cycling like crazy through all of the knob settings) on my 10 year old Voyager. Sometimes it is gone for a few weeks, but unfortunately it always reappears. At first I thought it was some kind of midi-loop but even after disconnecting all...

Re: New Voyager, dead OSC?

About seven years ago I had the same issue with my brand new Voyager. Just a clicking noise but no sound. After a repair I did not encouter this problem again.

Thanks Eric for your encouragement :D and thanks Nick for your suggestion that definitely did the trick. Although the serialnumber is four digits long, after putting a zero in front of it I was able to register the cp251!

Problem trying to register MOOG product

The last few weeks I have been trying to register my brand new CP-251 online. After filling in the details and pushing the okay-button, I get a message that this product has been registred before and that I have to contact Moog. Even after sending an email I still got no response. Can anybody tell m...

Allright, don't hesitate to call upon your dealer. It took me some time to realise and accept that the even the Moog-firm makes mistakes (using a faulty batch of capacitators)...

Hello Laurens, I don't think that the problems concerning the tuning of the third oscillator of your Voyager RME are due to changes in the temperature. I had the same kind of problem with oscillator 3 (performer edition) and it was caused by a bad capacitator. So there was no relation with the softw...

"Another forum member then accused this person of "flaming" Moog. That's absolutely ridiculous!! Someone started this chain by asking for honest, open feedback about peoples' experiences with the Voyager. How can you slam somebody for simply saying that they haven't had a fanstastic e...

Yes, it is very easy to make fun of... But I think the problem is due to a failing quality-control and a bad service.... I don't think it is normal to have to wait for months and get a replacement which happens to be from the same series and has the same failure and then hear nothing again. If the s...

Does anyone, who owns the Voyager, hate it?

Yes I do. It is almost three monthts ago that I purchased my Voyager and I am still not able to use it the way it is supposed to. The first day I used it oscillator 3 broke down. Two months later I got a replacement, I turned it on and after a quarter of an hour or so, oscillator 1 broke down. I am ...
