Re: Lower octave note triggers when using the octave switch for the oscjllators

I have noticed this too.
It is indeed 'unwanted' but not a big issue for me.
The only moment I did really not like it was when I wanted to modulate the octave with a square lfo.
Otherwise I don't change that while playing.

Re: Experiencing an awful Moog Subsequent 37 bug where presets are being overwritten/duplicated by Editor VST

Yes, this is a nasty bug that some users experience (myself included). I hunted it down to the PRG CHANGE setting. Try to disable the SEND option (you can leave RECEIVE enabled). I tried to debug this for some months, pulling my hair out. I finally installed Midi Ox (or something like that) to insp...

There is no hardware I can think of solving this problem.
I'm fairly new to the whole midi stuff, but I have seen LoopOp (youtube) use some interesting midi devices that can program stuff and translate messages as well.

Re: Subsequent 25 midi question

You probably need to translate the midi message between the 2 instruments.
Or try if you can find an option in either the moog editor or the roland one (if there is) that can do this.

Re: Sub/Subsequent 37 DAW tempo Sync Cheat Sheet

What daw are we talking about.
I got it working for Reason 10.4 on Windows.
It was a bit of fiddling around in Reason, but it does work now.
Always.

Re: Sub 37 and Sub Phatty Editor DAW preset recall

I have / had some issues with the VST, but this is not one of them. If I have good connection (sometimes it fails), the VST sends the last stored patch to the S37. So I don't have to select it manually. The only problem is when there are more instances of the VST in one project (because I have more ...

Re: Subsequent 37 MIDI loop Issue

Sounds like either a midi configuration error on the S37 or something Logic is causing. You can use the midi menu (on the S37) to set what messages will be send back through USB or DIN. Make sure you send back what you want to be sent back. (maybe start with nothing going out of the S37 to test) Too...

Re: Sub 37 precise tempo on screen

I have to say it works good with my daw clock. Took me a while to figure it out with Reason, but it works now. Even sending the clock via midi cable to my effects pedal to sync the delay works (set echo DIN to USB and remember to disable other usb messages, otherwise the pedal will change parameters...

Re: Sub 37 precise tempo on screen

I really think this dates back to the 'analog' way Moog works. That is never very precise, but that does make the sound so great. Now when you are jamming with a band, it is not the biggest deal. If they hear your tempo, they can adjust. But for any other scenario where you are not synced to an exte...
