Re: local control page missing

@Till: I bought my unit with Thomann in Germany and got a German manual with it, v0.1.
This contains 1 1/2 page of info about the 'local' settings. Really odd that it is not in the current manual anymore. Thanks for checking.

Re: local control page missing

Is there a specific reason you need this that can't be handled from your DAW and/or just turning the volume of the One to minimum? I'm surprised that the manual (version 0.1) I got with the synthesizer speaks about this midi functionality but that it is not in the menu system. There are 1.5 pages d...

Re: Moog One Output Signal Distorted

I did not know about this statement, but that explains everything. The distorted sound will be clipped and given the right basic waveform will resemble a square wave. Phew, so the machine is not broken, this is by design. That's a relief. But I find the concept of creating distortion this way a bit ...

local control page missing

Hi, in my Moog One manual it says that in "settings" under "global" I should find a pace called "local control". However I can not find it on the synth. I do find the other pages liste din the manual (e.g. "Hardware Settings", "Midi Control" etc.). H...

Re: Moog One Output Signal Distorted

Wherever in my previous posts I speak of 'overloading' or 'flattened' I mean 'clipped'. I realized only just a minute ago that that was the word I was looking for. The signal is clipped and that is not what I would expect.

Re: Moog One Output Signal Distorted

@y Iaamusic What you suggest may be a work around, but anyone who knows how amplifiers work, will recognize the distortion as a matter of overloading the amplifier. I'm not speaking about noise as is being spoken about in the thread you mention, this is unwanted distortion of the otherwise clean sig...

Moog One Output Signal Distorted

As soon as I turn the output level past 8, the signal of my Moog One is distorted. I have attachted a picture with a digital oscilloscope. Although the picture is not perfect, it is clearly visible that the signal is flattened as if it is hitting the amplifiers max/min voltage level. This does not h...
