Re: Monitoring modulation through the CV OUT
In case you think about using M1 to process external CV, unfortunately the incoming signal will be filtered as well. red: a square wave from an external analog LFO @16Hz blue: the same square wave going through M1. Re: Monitoring modulation through the CV OUT
It looks like this heavy filtering has only been applied to the CV output and not to the modulation signal in the Mod Matrix. red: CV output: This is a close-up of Moog One LFO1 square wave at 5Hz, blue: audio output: the same LFO modulates OSC1 Mixer, notice a 3ms delay, but also a much sharper squ...

Monitoring modulation through the CV OUT
With the new CV functionality, I've tested how M1's modulation signal looks like. What you see below is oscilloscope screenshots of LFO1 set to a square wave. Notice that there is a substantial amount of smoothing applied and the square wave doesn't exactly look like you would expect. For comparison...

Re: System Calibration - Multimeter suggestions?
The calibration guide will tell you how and when to connect it.
From what I remember the TRS end goes to the headphones out and the two TS ends to the CV ins.

for reliability, I would get Fluke 117. It's expensive though.

Does 1.5 sound better?
I updated to 1.5, performed all the calibration routines, started playing the new Lisa Bella Donna's presets and... M1 has never sounded so good and alive. The sound feels cleaner and more open (brighter), with more detail. The new presets are so beautifully balanced. On the other hand the long time...

I would love contrasting wood panels for Matriarch Dark Edition. A classic Moog look.

Re: Long notes distort sound when using MIDI in
are you sure you're not triggering the same note twice? one local and a duplicate through MIDI?
Check your voice count when this happens.

Re: 3 synthy can be controlled by 3 Midi cannels ?
I'm afraid you misunderstand the MIDI workflow with a DAW. You are not supposed to trigger your synths directly from the keyboard. You will end up with doubled notes -- the same note will be triggered by your keyboard and by your DAW. I suggest that you google "MIDI and 'Local Off'".

Re: 3 synthy can be controlled by 3 Midi cannels ?
Change to the following in the Settings.
MIDI I/O > MIDI OUT ROUTE > ALL SYNTHS
this should solve your problem.
You will still be able to trigger individual synths through their respective MIDI channels.

Re: 3 synthy can be controlled by 3 Midi cannels ?
just to make sure we are talking about the same thing... turn off keyboard control for all synths, to verify that your ONE doesn't send any MIDI notes. PANEL FOCUS > SYNTH 1 KEYBOARD CONTROL > ON to OFF PANEL FOCUS > SYNTH 2 KEYBOARD CONTROL > ON to OFF PANEL FOCUS > SYNTH 3 KEYBOARD CONTROL > ON to...
