Yup. ANY Prophet 5 that works well is a pleasure to use. Just be careful, there are a lot of broken ones out there. If you're going to buy one get it from a reputable source that's had it serviced.

some rev 2s can be a lot of trouble. i recommend either learning about its features and figuring out whats wrong with it (most p5s need some kind of service at this point in time) or finding someone who can assess its condition. either that or risk having an upset buyer.

yes, levels of restoration work vary. we dont pretend to do the same 60-70 hour restorations kevin lightner may perform for popstars with bottomless wallets. :) anyone who wants that level of restoration should contact kevin and expect to pay a lot for it.

i think youre thinking too much about it! dont worry about what other people are saying. you and i have our own opinions on the mg1. just enjoy it and make some good music with it!!

when i said the MG1 is truly polyphonic, i meant it truly does play polyphonically - that is multiple notes at a time, not that it fits MC's description of true polyphony.

looks like you discovered most peoples biggest complaint about the poly section. :) for an organ type of volume contour, its fine, but if you want anything with a release, forget about it.
