Re: YES !

They didn't fix a kind of small thing that I've been asking for since Moog One came out. I will send it to them again since I think it's actually a fundamental issue. Basically, when you use any LFO to modulate the WAVE angle and that LFO is unipolar, the Modulation direction is inverted, which is ...

Re: YES !

At last. I am happy the sustain pedal now works via MIDI. Some bugs are corrected, some not. Delay is still out of sync 🙁 Try a simple arpeggiator sequence running at 120BPM (internal clock) combined with a dotted eight delay. In theory, the delay value should be 375ms, but to get the sound right, o...

Re: A few concerns before I buy the Moog One

As long as midi clock is being sent, it works fine. Not exactly. At first glance, it might. But once you are picky to details, sync is flawed. Try a dotted eight delay setting, synced to midi. Timing is off by 30ms or so, on every repeat. It makes synced delays blurry and unusable for professional ...

Re: Can't get support from Moog

Almost end of 2021, I get no support either. These people are incredible. I guess they don’t want return customers. When I had an issue with my Dave Smith Prophet 08, they got back to me within 2 days. Sequential support is awesome. They able to turn an issue, into a positive user experience. They ...

Re: SUB OUTS: so much quieter... and noisier

Wait a minute, do you actually use your ONE cranked up to those levels? No, but SNR is relatively independent from the signal level. When you boost the output, you boost both signal and noise equally (in first approximation). And this setting I recommended is one that makes the difference between t...

Re: SUB OUTS: so much quieter... and noisier

So, did any of you with this situation try the setup I described earlier? I'm curious if you get the same results I did. You are right and not. If you set the master volume to 50%, then indeed matches the signal level of the sub outputs. However, the sub outputs are noisier. Try this : Set the sub ...

Re: SUB OUTS: so much quieter... and noisier

it could be reversed pin wiring of the sub outputs, which would result in decreased signal level and increased noise. Yes, it could be. I got in touch with a user that got the same problem, sent the One back for replacement, and the new one he received had just the same behavior. So, I guess that i...

Re: SUB OUTS: so much quieter... and noisier

Glad you confirmed. Because I was wondering if something was bad with mine in particular. Another serious issue affecting such a flagship instrument then...

Re: Moog One Bugs

All my bug reports are left unanswered too. The frustration is growing... growing... growing... Especially for the price paid to own a One. Moog doesn't even consider you as beta tester. Beta testers receive at least an acknowledgement. Not us. Moog will learn the hard way how you can't stop negativ...

SUB OUTS: so much quieter... and noisier

When I set MAIN OUTs and SUB OUTs to the same barograph level on the output page, the SUB OUT is actually 24dB quieter than the MAIN OUT. And it so much noisier too (when one then boost it by 24dB) - it sounds like there is a classic organ leaking in the background (sort of harmonic whining) that is...

Re: v1.4: Oscillator Compensation Calibration

Well, 1.4 broke many of my patches. They sound not the same anymore, big time. I contacted Moog, but they didn't answer my email. I suspect the filter velocity settings to have changed (maybe a former bug related to that section has been now fixed, with as a result drastically changing the sound of ...

Re: v1.1.0 Bug Reports Thread

Noise Reduction Gate Produces Audible Clicks

When noise reduction is engaged, one can hear audible "clicks" (more of a thumping than clicking) in the lower end of the spectrum, when a note is depressed. Especially audible on quiet patches.

Re: v1.1.0 Bug Reports Thread

Thanks vwizz. I was wrong indeed, and made a correction to the post above. In my case, the problem with the INIT PATCH to have sustain level set to the max. And that setting caused MULTI TRIG to make no difference.

Re: v1.1.0 Bug Reports Thread

Before, when something didn't behave as expected, I though I was the culprit. But now, as I realized that even something as huge as Velocity Curves are not working (at all ) - I am more and more suspicious with the One, when something doesn't work as expected. And here is another big one... MULTI TR...

Re: v1.1.0 Bug Reports Thread

I've noticed that the WAVE ANGLE of the TRI WAVE & SAW WAVE doesn't register correctly when used as a MOD destination. Basically, if you choose WAVE ANGLE as destination, inputting a +100% value actually registers as -100%, and inputting a negative value will return a positive value. It's prett...
