Midi note on velocity weirdness

Hi Guys,

After much flaffing around I have managed to get my Voyager to respond to midi note on velocity sent from a sequencer.

In order to do this I have had to turn keyboard off in local control!

It is a real pain to have to keep flipping this on and off, is it meant to work like this?

Cheers

Andy

This is not to meant to work like this.
I will check if it is like this here on my Voyager with my midi setup.

Hi, do anyone know a solution for this?
Currently I´m using Voyager as a keyboard controller and with midi from DAW, and flipping between the two sometimes feel uncomfortable.

Edit: I´m using Performer Edition and system version v3.5
Thanks and sorry for my bad English.

Greetings from North.

Sorry to drag up an old thread, but I'm having the exact same problem. I wanted to thank you for your workaround (turning off local keyboard control) as it saved my bacon, and to ask whether anyone has solved this problem?

I have same issue with Ableton. I have to turn local control off for the Voyager to respond to incoming velocity?

Anyone got advice as to why this happens. Would prefer not to have to keep switching local on and off.

I still have not found a way apart from turning keyboard off.

sorry guys. I don't understand what you're talking about...
Does it mean velocity from the MIDI input is not working till you switch off the local control?

Yep that is exactly the problem.

Wow, you're right. I'm working on version 3.6 for many months now and I never got this problem here. There's a bug in the 3.5 version, sh...t.
If you like to test the 3.6 beta send me an email to rudi at moogmusic dot de.
The 3.6 version has no problems with the velocity.
Have fun,
Rudi

Sorry for bumping this old thread.

Did this bug ever get sorted out?

3.6 never got released I think. Maybe email moog and ask for it.

Yeah thanks Bob.

This doesn't concern anyone else? Very bizarre behaviour to have to turn local off in order for midi velocity to work.

Sort it out Moog!
