Congratulations (I have #389 in Whitewash and love it). Lots of people looking for the OS lately; but... I thought they only produced 500? How did you get 540?

yeah, I thought they'd been limited to 500 too....but I was speaking to the guy who is our sales Rep for the distributor here in the UK & he mentioned that they might have " a few knocking about " ! So he sorted me one ASAP ! I think I must have got one of the very, very last ones. Got a bloody good price on it too...... 8)

Now I just need to get the MIDI-> CV&Gate sorted.....I guess a MP-201 is on the horizon...& then a VX-351....

Should be made illegal - sooooo addictive !! :lol:

I think, the Moog-people want to fool us, their loyal customers and fans:

This is really an exciting thread. 0125 Paris, France is my old school serial number. It's good to know the serial numbers of others here.

    Absolutely bizarre. Maybe Moog started up the assembly line again for OS'es? I ran out and bought mine a few years back when I read that they weren't making them any more. Didn't have the money at the time, had to beg and borrow.

    If another 100+ suddenly showed up, it must be that they either made more than 500 initially but only distributed the first 500 (until recently), or... [quietly] started up production again.

    I don't mind, actually as I will never sell my whitewash. Quite funny to see people with Voyagers pop up now and them and offer to trade though! Be proud and stand strong mighty mighty VOS owners!
